Our products use Clean+Protect™, which includes a patented biocompatible technology that makes the materials resistant to bacteria, viruses (incl. SARS-CoV-2, Corona virus), molds and biofilm.
It is biocide free, safe, sustainable and recyclable.
How does Clean+Protect™ work?
Bacteria and viruses attach to surfaces and materials in order to sustain. Latched on bacteria will proliferate and create a growing colony which inflames risks of accumulation and cross contamination.
Bacteria and viruses are unable to attach to the surface due to physical barrier properties created by a biomaterial mimicking the immune response of the human skin. No latching on of bacteria and viruses results in a more hygienic surface with lesser contamination, soiling, discoloration or bad odor.
Mi Products loves Clean+Protect™, as it’s effective, biocide free, safe, sustainable and recyclable.
≥99.9% more hygienic
Independent laboratory tests, following international protocols*, have verified that materials made with Clean+Protect™ have ≥99.9% lesser contamination on the surface after 24 hours.
Bacteria, viruses and molds
Many well-recognised testing institutes* have identified the effectiveness of Clean+Protect™ in combination with different bacteria, viruses, molds and biofilm, e.g. E.coli, Staph. aureus, MRSA, Listeria, Salmonella, SARS-CoV2 (Corona virus), Corona 229E, H1N1, H3N2, etc.
Clean+Protect™ is biocide free. The efficacy of the technology is due to physical barrier properties inspired by the defense mechanism of the human skin and not because of harmful chemicals.
Safe & Sustainable
Clean+Protect™ is a technology inspired by nature. It is biocompatible and it is not consumed and does not fade or leach out (migrate) over time. It is safe for humans, animals and the environment.
Clean+Protect™ does not compromise the recyclability of the material or product. It can perfectly go into the normal recycling stream without any downsides for the materials or the environment.
